Hi all, I know it's late for my first post with Blogger but I though I would share a few thoughts about multimedia design with you.
Firstly it's 3am and I'm still capturing audio from a conference I filmed last week, I've been capturing and editing since 7 am yesterday (with a couple of pub breaks). Secondly I just got caught with a congestion charge in London which I have to pay £60 for as I thought weekends wasn't tarriffed, I was wrong.... again.
But in all fairness despite these unavoidable things freelance does have its rewards. It's important to stay afloat after new setbacks and get stuck into current projects with the same rigour as you have started them. If your getting stir crazy at home then pop out for a walk and get back to it. I find this helpful as working from home can be a bit lonely at times (although walking though Lister Park at 3am isn't recommended, wait till the following day).
Anyhow, I'm calling it a night and capturing the rest of the footage later today. This blog will be mainly centered around freelance work and my personal rants regarding freelance work which I hope will be familiar to all you freelancers out there & who knows, maybe you've had the same experience's!
